Position Summary:
Community Life Church is seeking a passionate, Spirit-led, and musically-gifted Worship Leader to lead and cultivate authentic, engaging, and Christ-centered worship experiences. This person will lead worship in all aspects of the worship ministry, including Sunday services, Wednesday nights (youth), and special events. The ideal candidate is a strong vocalist and musician with a heart for ministry, a team-builder, and someone who aligns deeply with the mission and values of our church.
Key Responsibilities:
Worship Leadership:
- Lead weekly Sunday worship services in collaboration with the pastoral team.
- Lead weekly Youth worship services on Wednesday nights.
- Lead at any other special events as needed.
Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and disciple worship team members (musicians, vocalists, audio/visual team).
- Run rehearsals along with the MD and ensure musical excellence and unity within the team.
- Provide pastoral care and encouragement to team members.
Administrative & Technical Oversight:
- Weekly campus setup for Pro Presenter and simple lighting cues
- Report to Head Worship Pastor and take on anything assigned.
- Coordinate with staff and volunteers for special services (Christmas, Easter, baptisms, etc.).
Spiritual Leadership:
- Be an active member of the church body, modeling a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus.
- Be a part of a Community Group
- Participate in church-wide activities, staff meetings, and leadership development.
- Be a good teammate, willing to hep other ministries when possible
