Description:
The Marketing Department plays a vital role in advancing this mission by creatively and strategically communicating our vision, values, and global impact across all platforms. Through branding, storytelling, digital outreach, content creation, and campaign development, the Marketing Department supports every facet of the organization—from student recruitment and donor engagement to event promotion and global missions awareness. As the Marketing Director, you will lead a passionate team in shaping and sharing the voice of Christ For The Nations—helping us influence culture, mobilize the Church, and raise up the next generation of leaders for the Gospel. You will manage the Marketing Department’s responsibilities for planning and implementing all of the organization’s marketing strategies and marketing communications, both external and internal. You will oversee the development and implementation of support materials and services for departments in the areas of marketing, communications, and social media. You will direct the efforts of the marketing staff and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization. Additionally, you will manage and maintain the brand style guide within all departments and assess for quality control. Maintain the vision, mission, and goals set by the CFN leadership through all marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in managing integrated marketing initiatives across PR, brand, design, video, web, email, and social media (organic and paid campaigns).
- Strong track record in developing, leading and executing paid media strategy and high-impact marketing campaigns that drive engagement and ROI that include Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
- Skilled in budget development, team leadership, hiring, training, and performance management.
- Experience in media relations, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Proficient in marketing tools and software, including InDesign, CRM platforms, and analytics tools.
- Collaborative leader with a commitment to cross-functional teamwork and shared leadership models.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Special Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications with a strong record of strategic leadership and measurable success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the organization's image and market position.
- Oversee all marketing, communications, and PR initiatives, including publications, media relations, and client acquisition.
- Ensure consistent messaging across internal and external channels; lead design, production, and dissemination of publications.
- Foster media relations, respond to inquiries, and develop strategies for digital platforms (social media, email, website, online store).
- Maintain cohesive branding across all materials and provide technical support to departments on marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research and lead special projects, including cause-related marketing and event coordination.
- Achieve marketing and communications goals, monitor progress, and report updates to the Executive Director and Board.
- Create and manage budgets, ensuring effective implementation and evaluation.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the Division Director and oversee departmental procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation and improvement.
- Align organizational direction with market dynamics and constituent needs, guiding program development and decision-making.
- Integrate the organization’s philosophy and mission into daily operations, ensuring stakeholder feedback is gathered.
- Contribute to policy development to maintain organizational integrity and serve as an internal consultant for marketing initiatives.
- Cultivate a culture that attracts and retains top talent, both paid and volunteer.
- Oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and professional development for all staff.
- Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and empowering staff and volunteers to support the organization’s mission.
- Address conflicts proactively to maintain productivity and cohesion.
- Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads) to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
- Optimize campaigns with A/B testing and performance analysis to maximize ROI.
- Track budget allocation, collaborate on ad copy and visuals, and provide regular performance reports.
- Stay informed on digital marketing trends to continually improve campaign effectiveness.
