We are a non-denominational, Spirit-filled church seeking a youth pastor to engage with the young people of our church community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about discipling and nurturing the spiritual growth of youth, cultivating authentic relationships, organizing engaging activities, and fostering a strong sense of community in an environment where young people can encounter Jesus and grow in their faith.

Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership: Model a Christ-centered lifestyle, demonstrating a strong relationship with God and a reliance on the Holy Spirit. Provide spiritual guidance and mentorship to youth.
Teaching and Discipleship: Develop and deliver Bible studies, lessons, and workshops aimed at promoting faith, character development, and leadership skills among youth.
Weekly Youth Services: Lead weekly youth services on Wednesday nights, faciltate worship encounters, and deliver age-appropriate and engaging Spirit-led messages.
Relationship Building: Build meaningful relationships with youth and their families, offering encouragement, support, and spiritual guidance.
School and Community Presence: Maintain an active, supportive presence within the local high school community by attending school events, student games, and lunch visits when appropriate. Be available to serve alongside other local pastors to provide spiritual support to students and teachers.
Pastoral Duties and Responsibilities: Attend and support church-wide events, be available to assist with pastoral duties as needed, participate in pastoral care responsibilities, and assist with visitations.
Event Planning: Plan and execute monthly youth events and outings, including retreats, gatherings, and recreational activities that foster community and spiritual growth.
Summer Camp Coordination: Organize and lead summer camps that provide opportunities for spiritual development, teamwork, and deepening relationships.
Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, equip, and support adult volunteers and leaders within the youth ministry.
Outreach and Community Engagement: Encourage and lead youth in outreach efforts and community service, cultivating a heart for evangelism, service, and mission.
Team Meetings and Participation: Regularly attend and actively participate in staff and pastoral meetings. Collaborate with other ministries and pastors by assisting with special projects, assignments and non-routine matters.

Qualifications:

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a Spirit-filled life that demonstrates spiritual maturity.
Agreement with our Statement of Faith and alignment with the beliefs and values of our church.
Previous experience in youth ministry or a related field is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A genuine calling to youth ministry, with a heart for evangelism, discipleship, and the spiritual formation of young people.
Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, pastoral leadership, and volunteers.
