Resonate Life Church Worship Internships
Mission Statement: Resonate Life Church exists to disciple people to LOVE GOD, LIVE WHOLE, and develop their gifts to LEAD OUT.
RLWorship Vision: To equip multigenerational worshippers to lead in the worship space with excellence, humility, and sensitivity to the movement of the Holy Spirit.
We are launching into two Sunday services in October and are looking for passionate and committed musicians to join us as interns. This opportunity is perfect for young adults and developing musicians who want to grow in their skill, leadership, and spiritual depth while serving the church.
Interns will:
- Commit to a 4-month internship (September–December) with opportunity to continue into the spring semester.
- Serve twice a month on our Sunday worship teams.
- Participate in Thursday night rehearsals and Sunday morning sound checks.
- Have additional opportunities to serve in Monday night RL Collective (Young Adults) worship and Wednesday night RLYouth worship.
- Receive mentorship and coaching in both musicianship and spiritual leadership.
- Be compensated $100 per week for travel expenses (Thursday and Sunday.)
Applicants must complete an audition to be considered for internship positions.

Music Director (MD)
We are seeking music directors who have a passion for leading from behind the scenes and guiding the flow of worship. You must play either lead piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, or keys. As a music director intern, you will:
- Learn how to give clear cues and direction to the band and vocalists during live worship.
- Grow in using talkback systems, click tracks, and arrangements to keep the team unified.
- Partner with the worship leader to shape the sound, dynamics, and flow of each service.
- Develop leadership skills in communication, attentiveness to the Spirit, and supporting the congregation through the team’s excellence.
Drummer
We are seeking drummers who have a heart for worship and a desire to serve with excellence. As a drummer intern, you will:
- Provide a solid and dynamic rhythmic foundation for worship.
- Learn how to follow a music director, use in-ear monitors, and play with click tracks and loops.
- Grow in sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, leading the congregation through the energy and tone you set on the drums.
- Work closely with the worship leader and band to create moments of authentic, Spirit-led worship.
Electric Guitar
We are seeking electric guitarists with a passion for creativity in worship. As an electric guitar intern, you will:
- Provide melodic hooks, textures, and atmosphere that support congregational worship.
- Learn how to play in a team context with dynamics, layering, and effects.
- Gain experience using modern worship tones and techniques.
- Grow in leading atmospherically, not just musically, by being sensitive to where the Spirit is moving in worship.
Bass Guitar
We are seeking bass players who want to lock in musically and spiritually. As a bass intern, you will:
- Provide the backbone of the band by connecting rhythm and harmony.
- Learn how to create grooves that support both the drummer and the worship leader.
- Grow in awareness of how bass shapes the atmosphere of worship.
- Build confidence in leading with authority from a supporting role, setting the foundation for the congregation to engage freely.
Lead Piano
We are seeking lead pianists who desire to lead worship musically and spiritually. As a piano intern, you will:
- Provide chordal and melodic leadership, often driving the flow of a worship set.
- Learn how to create moments of atmosphere, dynamics, and spontaneous worship.
- Grow in sensitivity to the Spirit, helping to guide the congregation through both structured songs and open moments.
- Develop the ability to support vocals and lead transitions in worship with excellence.
