About the Role:
We're looking for a passionate and skilled Worship Leader / Vocalist to help lead dynamic, Spirit-led worship experiences. This paid, part-time position is ideal for someone who loves both excellence and authenticity in worship.
The Worship Leader will serve as the primary vocal leader during services, working closely with the Music Director to create powerful worship moments that blend traditional gospel, contemporary worship, and modern CCM styles. Versatility is key.
Responsibilities:
- Lead worship vocally during Sunday services, Wednesday nights, and special events
- Collaborate with the Music Director on song selection, arrangements, and service flow
- Rehearse and coach vocalists on harmonies, blend, and stage presence
- Lead vocal warmups and sound checks before services
- Foster spiritual and musical unity within the team
- Communicate schedules, setlists, and expectations clearly and consistently
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading live worship in church or ministry settings
- Strong lead and harmony vocal ability
- Well-versed in traditional gospel, contemporary worship, and modern CCM
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Spiritually grounded, dependable, and teachable
Compensation:
This is a paid, part-time position. Rate and schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
Interview Process:
Two rounds — audition first with the Music Director, then interview with the Pastors.
