CORNERSTONE WORSHIP PASTOR
The Cornerstone Worship Pastor is a gifted musician with a heart for God and a passion for leading a large congregation into God’s presence through music and song. This individual excels at curating and arranging meaningful set lists, inviting the congregation into authentic worship, and building strong relationships with contract musicians, congregants, and fellow Cornerstone team members.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position that will work an anticipated 36-40 hours per week.
Schedule:
- Sundays: 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (unpaid 30-minute lunch included)
- Additional hours may be required during key ministry seasons (e.g. Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week)
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Worship Leadership
- Curates and maintains the Cornerstone song catalog to help people sing our theology and connect with God.
- Leads congregational worship vocally. (Instrumental leadership preferred but not required.)
- Cultivates a culture of worship that reflects authenticity, participation, and spiritual maturity.
- Occasionally leads worship during staff meetings, memorial services, and nights of worship.
- Worship Planning & Administration
- Collaborates with Preaching Pastor, Director of Cornerstone, and Worship Producer to design weekly worship services that are thematically and spiritually cohesive.
- Maintains worship budget and oversees contractor payments through ADP.
- Manages worship planning systems and licensing (e.g. Planning Center, CCLI, Spotify) to organize team schedules, communicate service elements, and ensure smooth execution of worship services.
- Team Building & Shepherding
- Recruits, trains, and shepherds a strong Cornerstone band.
- Fosters a spiritually healthy, authentic, and collaborative culture.
- Seeks out feedback and discerns how to incorporate.
- Spiritual Development & Leadership
- Actively pursues spiritual growth and emotional health as the foundation for leading with integrity, passion, and authenticity in worship.
Education and Desired Skills:
- Seasoned worship leader, both vocally and instrumentally (5+ years’ experience) required.
- Proficient at arranging music and leading band required.
- Strong vocalist required; instrumentation preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

- G Suite (Google, Gmail, Calendar, etc…)
- Planning Center Online
- ProPresenter
