UCF has officially launched its search for a Young Adult Pastor to lead and shepherd her young adults between ages 18–35.

Look for demonstrated ability in:
1. Teaching & Communication
• Engaging Bible teaching
• Ability to connect Scripture to real-life issues
• Relational and clear communicator
• Comfortable in both small and large group settings
2. Discipleship
• One-on-one mentoring
• Small group development
• Leadership pipeline building
3. Relational Intelligence
• Connects naturally with 18–35 age group
• Listens well
• Builds trust
• Navigates generational and cultural diversity
4. Evangelistic Mindset
• Burden for reaching unchurched young adults
• Outreach creativity
• Campus and community awareness
V. CULTURAL AWARENESS
The ideal candidate should:
• Understand digital culture and social media dynamics
• Be aware of mental health pressures affecting young adults
• Navigate conversations about faith and culture without compromise
• Engage both singles and married young adults effectively
This doesn’t mean “trendy.” It means wise and informed.
VI. LEADERSHIP & TEAM FIT
• Ability to work under senior leadership
• Collaborative spirit with other ministries
• Willingness to submit to accountability
• Administrative competence (planning events, budgeting, organizing volunteers)
Chemistry with senior pastor and staff matters greatly.
VII. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Formal theological education (Bible college/seminary preferred)
• Proven ministry experience with young adults
