Responsibilities
- Develop and implement after-school activities.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Manage children's behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other staff to enhance activities and share resources.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Experience in special education or working with students with diverse needs is highly desirable.
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively.
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to students.
- Proven experience working with children in various settings such as babysitting, camps, or educational programs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth both academically and socially.
- A willingness to promote faith and growth in students through devotionals.
