Overview
Gateway of Grace Ministries is seeking an experienced childcare teacher to nurture and care for children ages 18 months to 2.5 years. These little ones are the children of refugee mothers who are currently enrolled in English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. This role is ideal for retired early childhood educators or anyone with a heart for cross-cultural ministry and early development. You’ll be helping parents lay a strong foundation for their children’s growth while they themselves learn English and build new lives.

Duties
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children
- Provide daily updates to parents and the Director of Operations regarding each child’s progress and overall classroom activities
Qualifications
- Active participation in a local church community
- Strong commitment to the mission and values of Gateway of Grace Ministries
- Ability to respect and connect with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Minimum of 5 years of childcare experience in a church, daycare, or similar setting
- Possession of at least an associate’s degree in early childhood education or an equivalent childcare certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
