Job Overview
This position requires Childcare Director experience. You will be responsible for providing spiritual leadership and curriculum supervision to staff and children within the Christian childcare academy. This position blends ministry with outreach, ensuring both the spiritual growth of children and the sustainable growth of the academy. As a member of our leadership (management) team your role actively promotes our academy by building relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and families to increase enrollment, visibility and to reach young families with the Gospel.
This position requires childcare operations experience. Please don't waste your time if you do not have experience in a licensed childcare center or academy by applying.
The perfect candidate has childcare Center Director Certificate and is dedicated to Children's Ministry with the childcare academy sponsored by the church.
Responsibilities
- Provide support & training to childcare staff with our Experience Learning (Brightwheel) and our faith-based curriculum blended for DAP.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote spiritual development as well as growth in developmental intellectual and emotional skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress.
- Organize events that enhance public relations, such as or holiday celebrations and fall and spring programs that highlight children's accomplishments.
- Offer support when needed, providing comfort to children dealing with disappointments or loss.
- Meet with nearby businesses to promote the academy as a benefit to their employees (could be identified as a Marketing function).
Experience
- Strong personal faith, strong desire to help staff teach children about Jesus
- Management Experience working with children in a childcare setting is required.
- Background in social work or Christian counseling is a plus, providing additional support to families.
- Skills in mentoring and teaching are beneficial for fostering children's growth.
- Experience in promoting a company to enhance the community engagement
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with both children and parents. Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
