Seasons Preschool, a Denton Best- top 3-early childhood education provider, is seeking a passionate and dedicated ECE/Lead Teacher to provide ”best-in-class,” developmentally appropriate care for children of all ages from Infancy through 4 years, in a fun and family-oriented, Christian environment. Seasons Preschool is a ministry of Thousand Hills Church.
The person selected for this position will work in a variety of classrooms as a "Flex Teacher," (not a Floater role), transitioning between a Lead Teacher Role or Assistant Teacher role, as needed. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys variety and working with multiple age groups. In addition, this position may transition into a Lead Infant Teacher in the future.
If you have a minimum of 1 year experience as an ECE Teacher in a licensed facility and are available for full time work between 8 am and 4 pm, M-F, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and active caregiving to children of all ages, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plan activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, cognitive and emotional development
- Follow established routines and schedules such as at nap time, meal time, and playground time.
- Ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and center policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
- Support positive behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards
- Build positive relationships with staff, students, and families
- Adapt quickly to different teaching styles and classroom needs, remaining flexible to move between classrooms and roles (both Assistant and Lead) when necessary
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year consistent experience working as a Teacher in a licensed childcare facility; High school diploma
- Demonstrated working knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood caregiving and education- demonstrated through your work experience
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred, but we can provide certification
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork in order to collaborate with parents, team members, and other caregivers
- Ability to remain flexible and multi-task when necessary; keeping a calm composure even during times of stress
- Passion and a love for working with young children
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and to actively supervise children under one's care
- Demonstrated track record of dependability and availability to work varied shifts as needed (8 am- 4 pm)
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
