About StrongGirls
StrongGirls is more than a gymnastics program—we’re a movement helping girls build confidence for life through fitness, character, and community. Our Afterschool Program provides a safe, structured, and fun environment for kids to grow every day after school.
The Role: Afterschool Teacher
We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Afterschool Teacher to guide, supervise, and mentor children in our program. You don’t have to be a gymnast—what matters most is your ability to connect with kids, create structure, and bring positive energy.
No gymnastics experience? No problem. We train you step-by-step. Our best coaches come from backgrounds like teaching, babysitting, youth ministry, cheer, and dance. If you love working with kids—we'll teach you the rest.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead small group activities with patience and enthusiasm
- Ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment
- Build strong relationships with students and parents
- Model the StrongGirls values: confidence, kindness, and responsibility
Requirements
- Love working with kids (experience in childcare, teaching, or camps preferred)
- Reliable and consistent Monday–Friday
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Pass background check
Bonus if you:
- Have teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience
- Are CPR/First Aid certified
- Want to grow into leadership as our program expands
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
