Job Description:
The Children’s Minister at Creekside will lead, develop and grow a vibrant ministry for children (birth–5th grade) and their families. This leader will have a heart for shepherding young hearts, equipping families, and building a strong team of volunteers. The ideal candidate is relational, organized, biblically grounded, and excited to collaborate in a church-wide mission.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide vision and leadership for all children’s ministry environments (Sundays, midweek, special events).
· Build strong, supportive relationships with children and their families.
· Recruit, train, and care for a dynamic team of volunteers.
· Manage creative, age-appropriate, Christ-centered curriculum.
· Partner with parents as the primary spiritual influencers in their children’s lives.
· Maintain safe, welcoming environments that reflect excellence and care.
· Collaborate with church staff to integrate children’s ministry into the broader life of the church.
· Align all ministry practices with Creekside’s biblical and theological values.

Qualifications
- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a calling to ministry.
- Experience working with children in a church or ministry setting (preferred)
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, or related field (preferred).
- Willingness to become a committed member of Creekside Church.
