Joshua Methodist Church is Hiring a Bivocational Youth Minister

Joshua Methodist Church is seeking a bivocational Youth Minister who is passionate about sharing the gospel with students and discipling them in their faith. This is a part-time position (5-10 hours per week) with a weekly stipend of $100.

Responsibilities:

Lead a gospel-centered Sunday night youth program (4:12 Students) that encourages students to know, follow, and share Jesus.
Teach and disciple students in the Word of God, emphasizing the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus as the foundation of faith.
Partner with parents to support and equip them in their role as the primary disciples of their children.
Encourage students to engage in spiritual disciplines, evangelism, and serving the church and community.
Occasionally attend students' events to build relationships and provide encouragement.
Be a committed member of Joshua Methodist Church and an active part of its ministry.

Qualifications:

A growing faith in Christ marked by an active prayer and devotional life.
Passion for student ministry and a heart for the gospel.
Alignment with Wesleyan theology and a theologically conservative stance.
Strong communication and relational skills, with the ability to connect with students and their families.
Ability to equip and empower students to live out their faith boldly.
