- Base salary starting up to $100k/year based on experience and CPA credentials.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead audit and attestation engagements from planning through final delivery.
- Coordinate engagement schedules and assign work to audit team members.
- Review audit documentation and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
- Resolve technical and client-related issues while keeping firm leadership informed of significant developments.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop senior and staff accountants through coaching, performance evaluations, and technical guidance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and trusted financial advice.
- Identify opportunities to expand services for existing clients based on their evolving needs.
- Assist firm partners with administrative and operational initiatives as needed.
- Utilize firm technology, audit software, and Microsoft Office applications to efficiently manage engagements.
- Ensure engagements comply with FASB, AICPA, and applicable federal and state regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with the ability to practice public accounting in Texas and, when applicable, other states.
- 3+ years of progressive audit experience within public accounting.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and nonprofit accounting.
- Proven experience managing multiple engagements while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising and developing accounting professionals.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, develop practical solutions, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
