The Groups Director/Pastor role is designed to lead the Groups ministry at their specific campus. The Groups Director/Pastor will work hand in hand with the Lead Groups Pastor and the Groups Department to make sure that the mission of Hope Fellowship is being accomplished to invite everyone to find Jesus and help them move towards the center of God's purpose for their lives. The Groups Director/Pastor does this by overseeing, managing, coordinating, and pastoring the Group leaders on their campus to promote spiritual growth and discipleship through multiple types of community groups.

- Group Leaders: recruit/train/launch
- Group Coaches: recruit/train/launch
- Coach/Leader training events
- Create Connections teams (greeters, check-in, etc.) for on-site events
- Ensure that all materials and promotional items are ordered, received, and available for the semester launch
- Offsite Groups
- Group Leaders: recruit/train/launch
- Group Coaches: recruit/train/launch
- Curriculum recommendation/approval
- Approval and launch of new Groups
- Childcare reimbursements
- Leader questions/assistance
- Groups Events
- Planning
- Overseeing/coordinating

- Tuesday night on-site Bible Study and Class Groups
- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday on-site Bible Study and Class Groups
- Coach/Leader Training sessions
- Teaching/Leading groups as needed

- Assist with Pastoral Care needs at the campus
- Manage Groups budget set for the Frisco West campus
- Manage day-to-day functions and integration of the Groups ministry at the Frisco West campus
- Church-wide Events:
- Church-wide Project Serve events: 2 per year
- Worship Nights
- Saturday morning Connect Track: 2-3 times a year at the Frisco West campus
- Men's and Women's Conferences
Schedule:
- Office Time: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Onsite Groups Times:
- Tuesday nights - 5:30-8:30 pm - Bible Study and Class Groups
- Wednesday mornings - 9 am-12 pm - Bible Study and Class Groups
- Groups events (times as needed)
- Service Times:
- Sunday - All Services
- Minimum of 1 hour before service time until all closing responsibilities are completed after the last service
- Other Times
- Church-wide Events (times as needed)
- Campus Events (times as needed)
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Ability to build relationships to assess, advise, and direct a person's appropriate next steps in moving towards the center of God's purpose for their life
- Ability to recruit, lead, and equip leaders to lead successful groups at Hope Fellowship
- High energy with enthusiasm for Hope Fellowship's Vision
- Understanding of Asana project management system
- Proficient in Planning Center management system
