We are looking for a energetic and highly motivated Founding Childcare Director to lead the opening and successful launch of our beautiful, brand-new Christ-centered childcare center in North Richland Hills, TX – St. Clement Christian Academy!

Job Summary:
As our Founding Director, you will have the rare opportunity to design, launch, and manage a new childcare center—ensuring it meets licensing requirements, delivers exceptional early childhood education, and fosters a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where children can flourish physically, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
Key Startup Responsibilities:
· Lead the licensing process with Texas Health and Human Services, ensuring full compliance before opening day.
· Oversee facility setup, including classroom design, equipment purchasing, and safety compliance.
· Develop and implement age-appropriate, Christ-centered curriculum and learning materials.
· Recruit, hire, train, and onboard teachers and staff prior to opening.
· Build community awareness through marketing, tours, and outreach to grow enrollment.
· Establish center policies, procedures, and parent handbooks.
· Create initial operational systems for scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping.
Ongoing Responsibilities After Opening:
· Oversee and manage all aspects of day-to-day operations.
· Maintain compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and Texas Rising Star Accreditation.
· Build collaborative partnerships with parents, staff, and the community.
· Monitor curriculum implementation and review lesson plans.
· Maintain strong financial health through budgeting and enrollment growth.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years Director experience in early childhood education.
· Valid Texas Director’s Credential for Early Childhood Education.
· Proven experience in childcare center startups or program launches preferred.
· Strong working knowledge of Texas Child Care Minimum Standards and licensing procedures.
· Experience in marketing, enrollment growth, and community outreach.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Sincere love for children and a passion for creating a strong, Christ-centered educational environment.
· Strong leadership, integrity, and organizational skills.
