About Us
Dallas Disciples is a new and growing faith-based youth basketball program committed to training young athletes to win on the court and lead off of it. We combine strong basketball instruction with mentorship rooted in Christian values. Though we are new, our program is rapidly expanding, and we are seeking passionate coaches to help lead our growth.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Youth Girls Basketball Coach to launch and lead our first girls’ team (3rd–6th grade). The season begins in late October, with practices 2 evenings during the week and 1 weekend game.
The role begins part-time with 1 team, but our goal is to grow into 4 teams within 6 months. There is a clear pathway to becoming the manager and overseer of the girls program as we expand.
Bonus Opportunity: If hired before the season, you can earn 15% commission for each player you recruit onto the team.
Responsibilities
- Coach practices 2x per week and games on weekends.
- Teach basketball fundamentals and team concepts appropriate for 3rd–6th grade athletes.
- Provide Christian mentorship, including prayer and encouragement in line with program values.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and leadership.
- Help recruit and build the roster for the upcoming season.
Qualifications
- Born-again Christian actively involved in a local church (required).
- College playing/coaching experience (preferred); minimum of high school experience required.
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and youth development.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for mentoring and shaping young athletes on and off the court.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20–$30/hour depending on experience
- 15% commission for each player recruited (if hired before season start)

Schedule
- 2 weekday evening practices (1.5 hours each)
