Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced and saved Choir Director to lead our music ministry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for mentoring and developing talent within the choir. This role requires good communication skills and the ability to work together to achieve an environment that encourages worship and praise.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance choir objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to choir and other musicians. Ensuring alignment with the Pastor's mission and vision.
- Mentor team members, promote professional development and encourage a culture of continuous learning.
- Oversee ministry's development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Foster relationships with members as well as guest and visitors.
- Analyze new and traditional music as to encourage a balance with in the choirs catalogs of songs to minister on any given Sunday.
Experience
- Proven experience on Organ and some directing would be a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong background in teaching or training, with a focus on developing others' skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor individuals effectively, fostering growth and accountability.
- A track record of management and planning is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $150.00 - $250.00 per week
Expected hours: 05 – 25 per week
