Description:
The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties of CFN’s HR department.
Qualifications:
- Minimum College Associate’s Degree or equivalent admin experience
- Christ For The Nations graduate or ministry related reference preferred but not required
- Person of strong Christian Biblical beliefs and character required. Must adhere to the organization’s Statement of Faith and Standard of Personal Conduct as outlined in the Employee Manual.
- Knowledge of basic computer, internet and Microsoft programs required
Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Office
- Answers and responds to phone calls, emails, Slack, personnel visits and other communications directed to the HR department, and channels them to the proper personnel both within or outside the HR department
- Has direct oversight over any other scholarship student(s) within the HR department
- Both receives and processes all organizational Personnel Requisition forms up to hiring by the HR Director
- Sets up calendar schedule for new-hire interviews or employee meetings with the HR Director
- Processes HR Employee information on key Google Docs, Excel spreadsheets and intranet
- Works with the HR Payroll-Benefits Manager as needed on relevant work tasks
- Helps process with prospective international hires for all CFN R-1 and Green Card applications with the USCIS and related Government agencies
- Initiates and helps facilitate the EEA and EOY awards and presentations
- Works with the Hospitality department in employee-related parties, banquets, ceremonies and events
- Adheres to all HR policies and procedures, and maintains confidentiality of sensitive HR administrative and employee information
- Performs other assorted HR or organizational duties as tasked
- Becomes knowledgeable of HR policies and procedures both in the Employee Manual and in other HR related documents and spreadsheets.
HQ Reception
- Has direct oversight over the HQ Receptionist position, both the PT employee and Scholarship worker
Work Scholarship Program
- Works with our Scholarship Team and DSO, as well as with the Payroll-Benefits Manager on related matters about work scholarship hours and stipends/cafeteria break allowances.
- Collaborates with Scholarship Team to conduct scholarship orientation
- Collaborates with Scholarship Team to conduct supervisor orientation
- Collaborates with Scholarship Team in scholarship interviews and placement process
- Works with IT and Security to get students set up with Wasp timecards and badge access
- Manages Time Off Requests and make up hours for scholarship students
- Manages job evaluations every semester
- Collaborates with Scholarship Team and DSO when needed in disciplinary meetings and termination of scholarships
- Manages planning of summer work schedules of scholarship students
