POSITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Field Director (RFD) serves as the primary leader responsible for overseeing and strengthening field operations within a defined geographic region. This role focuses on training, coaching, and supporting staff and church partners to effectively implement Collision’s disciple-making model.
The RFD works closely with the Founder President (FP) and Field Implementation Director (FID) to ensure alignment, consistency, and health across all field activities, while supporting the Regional Expansion Director (RED) in fundraising and building sustainable and effective ministry structures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESField Leadership & Staff Development
- Directly supervise assigned State Field Directors and Metro Executives where a State Field Director is not in place.
- Train, coach, develop, and provide ongoing performance feedback and accountability to assigned staff.
- Participate in hiring, performance management, corrective action, and employment recommendations in collaboration with the FP and Human Resources.
- Develop and maintain a strong leadership pipeline throughout the region.
- Ensure staff are equipped, supported, and accountable to effectively lead local student movements.
Training & Implementation
- Train staff and church partners on Collision’s evangelism and disciple-making tools
- Ensure consistent and effective implementation across churches and schools
- Support the launch and development of student-led teams through church partners
- Provide hands-on coaching and support in key cities
Regional Strategy & Accountability
- Develop and execute regional ministry priorities in alignment with Collision’s national strategy.
- Establish measurable goals for staff development, church partnerships, student-led teams, and ministry growth.
- Regularly evaluate regional performance and identify opportunities, challenges, and areas requiring additional support.
- Provide the CFD with regular updates regarding staff health, ministry outcomes, regional opportunities, and emerging concerns.
- Ensure assigned staff and ministry activities operate in accordance with Collision policies, procedures, safety standards, and ministry expectations.
Onboarding & Systems
- Lead the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of State Field Directors and, where an SFD is not in place, Field Directors and Field Coordinators, in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Lead onboarding of new staff and volunteers
- Ensure systems, processes, and expectations are clearly communicated and followed
- Support administrative functions that strengthen field effectiveness
- Help maintain organization and communication across the region
Church & School Integration
- Help strengthen relationships between church partners and local schools
- Support churches in building and sustaining student-led movements
- Encourage alignment between discipleship in the church and outreach in schools
Fundraising Support
- Actively participate in raising financial support for the region and assigned ministry responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain donor relationships in coordination with Collision’s fundraising strategy.
- Coach assigned staff toward consistent and healthy fundraising practices.
- Collaborate with the Regional Expansion Director on regional fundraising and sustainability initiatives.
Leadership & Administration
- Maintain communication with the FP, FID, and HQ Directors
- Track and report key field metrics and ministry outcomes
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and organization events as directed
- Fulfill administrative responsibilities with excellence and consistency
- Record work receipts and expenses within 48 hours and submit any reimbursements by the 10th of the month
- Follow communication guidelines
- Use appropriate communication platforms to communicate with staff and students
- Use asana to delegate tasks to your staff and complete any tasks given to you
- Other duties as assigned by the FD or HQ Team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region, including occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends based on ministry needs.
- Ability to communicate and perform work in person and through phone/video conferencing.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience in ministry leadership, discipleship, or team development

Pay: $135,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
