Position Summary

The Sound Engineer Intern will work with our Production Team to help create an excellent worship experience by managing audio for worship services, rehearsals, and special events. This internship provides valuable experience in live sound production within a fast-paced ministry environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with setup and teardown of audio equipment (if needed).
Operate the sound console during worship services.
Perform sound checks with musicians and speakers.
Monitor audio quality throughout services.
Troubleshoot basic audio issues as they arise.
Help maintain microphones, cables, batteries, and audio equipment.
Work closely with Worship and Production leaders.
Participate in team meetings and training opportunities.

Qualifications

A heart for serving the local church.
Desire to grow in technical ministry.
Basic knowledge of audio equipment required.
Ability to learn quickly and receive coaching.
Dependable and punctual. Must have own transportation.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
