North Garland Baptist Fellowship (NGBF) is a family of believers committed to growing in God's Word, making disciples, and Building God's Kingdom from Garland to the Globe. We are seeking a servant-hearted Executive Assistant to the Pastor who shares our faith and mission and desires to use their gifts to support the work of the local church. This role serves as a trusted partner to the Pastor, providing executive-level administrative support while also overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the church office.
As the first point of contact for the Pastor's office, the Executive Assistant represents the church with professionalism, warmth, and grace. By managing administrative details with excellence, this individual enables the Pastor to focus on shepherding, teaching, leading, and advancing North Garland Baptist Fellowship's mission. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, discretion, flexibility, and a genuine heart for serving both the Pastor and the church family.
- Committed follower of Jesus Christ who supports the mission, values, and statement of faith of North Garland Baptist Fellowship.
- Minimum of 5 years of executive assistant, administrative, or office management experience; church or nonprofit experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and/or Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively.
- Servant-hearted, dependable, and skilled at building positive relationships with staff, church members, and ministry leaders.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with church leadership.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) and experience with church management software are a plus.
