Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Campus Pastor to serve as a spiritual leader and community builder within our faith-based organization. The Campus Pastor will oversee spiritual programming, provide pastoral care, and foster an inclusive environment that nurtures faith, growth, and community engagement. This role is vital in guiding individuals through their spiritual journeys, offering support during life’s challenges, and inspiring others through dynamic leadership and compassionate service. The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse populations in a nonprofit faith-based setting. Responsibilities
- Schedule weekly worship services, prayer gatherings, and spiritual activities that resonate with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Provide pastoral counseling and bereavement support to students, families, and staff facing personal or terminal illness challenges.
- Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings rooted in biblical theology and Christian doctrine to inspire faith development.
- Offer spiritual guidance and mentoring to students, faculty, and staff seeking support in their faith journeys or during crises.
- Plan and coordinate community outreach events and educational programs that promote spiritual growth and community bonding.
- Work collaboratively with campus leadership to develop programs that address the spiritual needs of students and staff.
- Manage conflict resolution and crisis intervention efforts with sensitivity, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.
Skills
- Proven experience in teaching religious studies, biblical theology, or related fields within a faith-based organization.
- Strong public speaking abilities with excellent presentation skills to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Expertise in pastoral counseling, crisis management, terminal illness counseling, and working with families during difficult times.
- Demonstrated leadership in nonprofit or faith-based settings with a focus on community building and spiritual mentorship.
- Exceptional communication skills for delivering sermons, facilitating discussions, and writing reflective or instructional materials.
- Ability to work as a clergyperson with cultural sensitivity, fostering inclusivity across diverse communities.
- Skilled in event planning, conflict management, crisis intervention, and Christian counseling techniques.

Pay: $46,205.79 - $55,645.68 per year
