Job Title: Christian Nursery Teacher
Reports To: Preschool Director / Principal
Position Summary
The Christian Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment for preschool-aged children. The teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate activities that promote spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and academic growth while integrating biblical teachings and Christian values into daily learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that support early childhood development.
- Incorporate Bible stories, prayer, worship, and Christian principles into the curriculum.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Foster positive behavior and character development based on Christian values.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, playground time, and special events.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and church leadership to support program goals.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, safety, and child protection regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood teaching methods.
- Active Christian faith and commitment to supporting the mission and values of the school/church.
- Ability to integrate biblical teachings into classroom instruction.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
