Crossing Point will be celebrating our 34th school year next year! Many of our staff have been with Crossing Point over 10 years.
Position:
Crossing Point is looking for experienced staff in the classroom M-F 8:30-3:00 and staff for our after-school care program.
Positions are available for Preschool teachers with passion for children, a love of Jesus, and experience in the classroom.
There are very low student / teacher ratios, benefiting both the teacher and the families. There are 2 teachers in every classroom. (generally, a lead and assistant working as a team)
Crossing Point is a faith based Preschool focusing on each child's need being met where they are today and helping them to grow socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Crossing Point follows McKinney ISD calendar. The school is closed during the summer.
**A minimum of 2 years experience in a school setting in preferred. We are also seeking staff that have worked at a kindergarten level.

A Crossing Point teacher will have fun in the classroom, enjoy the staff they work with and bring positive energy to the room. A Crossing Point teacher will work on relationship with each child, meet each child where they are and help them to grow. A Crossing Point teacher will see the parent as a partner in their child's journey.
A teacher will be able to plan and use classroom management skills, lead circle time, create open centers, encourage fine motor skills, writing centers, math, literacy, art, building, dramatic play and teach independence in a way that reaches young children in their little world while preparing them for kindergarten. A teacher will have healthy communication skills with families, other teachers in the building and the Director.
An assistant teacher will be able to assist the classroom lead teacher in preparing materials, working with children, cleaning the room, and supervision. This teacher will assist the lead in assigned tasks. Help the lead teacher during instruction time, help with classroom management during circle time, and centers, assist and be prepared to run an assigned teacher table, work with individual children on appropriate skills, read stories to children and get down on the floor to interact with the children when appropriate.
- All staff follow the Minimum Standards of the State of Texas including in-service training and professional growth, having fun with the children and always treating them with respect.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
