Role Snapshot: Preschool Kitchen Manager
The Preschool Kitchen Manager oversees daily meal preparation and kitchen operations while ensuring compliance with licensing, health, and CACFP guidelines. This role is essential to the health, safety, and overall experience of our children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to posted menus
- Maintain compliance with state licensing, health department, and CACFP standards
- Manage food inventory, ordering, storage, and rotation
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and safety at all times
- Accurately complete meal counts, temperature logs, and required documentation
- Accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs with care and precision
- Partner with Academy leadership to support daily operations and special events
- Model a positive, servant-hearted attitude that reflects Christ in action
Who We’re Looking For
- A Christ-centered team member who values serving children and families
- Someone who embraces our Statement of Faith and Commitment to Biblical Living
- Organized, reliable, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working independently while supporting a team environment
- Someone who sees this role not just as a job, but as ministry
- 18+ and able to pass a background check
- Food service, kitchen, or child care experience preferred (training provided)
