GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Flower Mound Korean Church (FMKC), located in Flower Mound, TX, is seeking a part-time minister to serve its English-speaking congregation, including Young Adults, Young Couples, Older Adults. Flower Mound Korean Church is part of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). This position will be part of the FMKC staff, and he will be under the guidance, direction, and will report to the Senior Pastor.
Type: Part-time (Weekend Ministry)
Friday (Evening Worship, Bible Study)
Saturday (Small Group)
Sunday (8:00AM - 4:00PM)
RESPONSBILITIES
The Pastor will have the following responsibilities for FMKC NewLife Bridge:
- Provide biblically-based preaching and teaching through the following avenues:
- Sunday worship
- Leading Bible study
- Friday Gathering
- Shepherd and disciple the Young Family Group
- Lead Weekly and Monthly House Church Small Groups
- Partner with other EM Pastors and lead the English Ministry
- Coordinate for special events (e.g., Outdoor Worship, Retreat, Mission Trips, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
The Pastor must have the following qualifications and skills.
- Attending or Graduated from an accredited seminary
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Adhere to the church’s mission and values
- Ability to coordinate and work with the other leaders of the church
- Ability to support and organize/plan church events
- Prior pastoral ministry experience is beneficial
- Must be fluent in English. Fluency in Korean is a plus

COMPENSATION
The stipend will be adjusted according to experience and church regulations.
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per month
