General Purpose of Position
Responsible for interacting, instructing and engaging families staying at Dallas LIFE.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates all children’s public school as well as Day Care registration and enrollment.
- Coordinates all school uniforms, backpacks and distribution of school supplies.
- Coordinates, approves, and organizes all infant donations such as strollers and car seat.
- Assists with scheduling, planning and hosting of children’s volunteer recognition events.
- Coordinates back to school, summer camp and Christmas give-a-way programs.
- Coordinates monthly children’s birthday parties at DL.
- Oversees the Effective Parenting class.
- Stays abreast of needs, disruptions, and evictions related to families at Dallas LIFE.
- This position works closely with the departments that oversee family members.
- Reports to the Senior Director of Programs.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Senior Director of Programs and the Executive Director.
