As a Foster Parent Recruiter, you will play a vital role in expanding and strengthening a network of foster, adoptive, and kinship families who provide safe, stable, and nurturing homes for children in care. You will lead recruitment efforts from initial inquiry through certification, engaging prospective caregivers through outreach, education, assessment, and training. Through relationship-building and collaboration, you will ensure families are well-prepared, supported, and aligned with our mission to serve children and families with excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Recruit with Purpose – Lead outreach and recruitment efforts through community presentations, events, and relationship-building to increase foster, adoptive, and kinship family inquiries.
Guide the Journey – Engage prospective families through timely follow-up, education, and face-to-face interaction to motivate participation in pre-service training and certification.
Ensure Readiness & Safety – Assess prospective caregivers and home environments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, agency policies, and best practices for child safety and well-being.
Drive Certification Success – Manage documentation, tracking, and electronic records to ensure families meet all requirements prior to certification.
Build Strong Foundations – Provide or coordinate pre-service training that prepares families for the responsibilities, challenges, and rewards of caring for children in foster care.
Protect Trust & Dignity – Maintain confidentiality and uphold privacy standards for all children, families, and agency records.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field
Requirements: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the community
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, documentation, and deadlines
Experience recruiting, assessing, or supporting foster, adoptive, or kinship families
Experience working within child welfare, foster care, or community-based services
Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, or compliance standards
Training or experience facilitating groups or presentations
