Campus Worship Pastor Job Description
Overall Responsibilities
Partner with the Central Media / Worship Pastor to create an enjoyable, accepting, authentic, relevant, and robust weekend experience.
● Lead worship services weekly. Including, but not limited to:
● leading rehearsals and service run-throughs
● debrief weekends
● provide feedback to the Central Team
● Spot, recruit, and develop worship team members through the onboarding process.
● Develop, lead, communicate and build the FOTP culture across your teams.
● Establish and maintain excellence on stage and throughout your teams.
● Provide pastoral care and love for your team members.
● Be available for leading, planning, and participation in special events.
● Lead and develop a student band or multiple student bands to develop players for other services.
● Other areas as assigned by the Central Media Pastor or Worship Pastor.
Skills and Attributes Needed
● Highly proficient vocally.
● Musical talent and abilities should include, but are not limited to:
● instrumental
● arranging/producing
● songwriting
● ability to sing and coach harmonies
● Leadership skills, including the ability to:
● Recruit new team members
● Multiply members, team, and leaders
● Develop new talent
● Must possess some creativity within the music/worship space and be able to communicate that creativity.
● Commitment to excellence.
● Strong communication skills on and off the stage.
● Basic understanding of music theory.
● Basic abilities in a DAW (Ableton, ProTools, Logic, etc.)
● Two years of worship leadership experience on staff at a church or equivalent.
● Band leadership and musical development
Qualifications
1. Must be a Christ-follower and have been baptized by immersion.
2. Must be fully engaged at Fellowship of the Parks (or willing to become fully engaged). Fully engaged means actively participating at FOTP by attending, serving, giving, and connecting to a small group.
3. Agree to Fellowship of the Parks’ C4 Leadership Covenant.
4. Agree to the Fellowship of the Parks’ Statement of Beliefs.
Expectations
1. Lead musical worship at all FOTP adult and student services at your campus.
2. Plan and execute weekly rehearsals with your bands.
3. Regularly meet with your teams to develop them.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $24,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Work Location: In person
