Victory Christian Academy is seeking a warm, energetic, and dependable After School Enrichment Leader to support our afterschool program serving Pre-K through 6th grade students. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves children and enjoys engaging with them through creative play, enrichment activities, and relationship-building.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and interact with students in a small-group setting
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities (crafts, games, enrichment, etc.)
- Help maintain a positive, nurturing, and respectful atmosphere
- Support smooth transitions during snack, homework help, and play time
- Ensure children are always safe, supervised, and engaged
- Build positive connections with students and families
Requirements:
- Must love working with children (truly — not just “watching” them)
- Active engagement is required — not sitting off to the side
- Clear criminal background check (required by Texas Childcare Licensing)
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting through the state system
- Current CPR/First Aid OR willingness to obtain shortly after hire
- Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate well with parents and staff
- Team player with a kind, patient, and fun personality
Preferred:
- Experience in a school, church, camp, or childcare environment
- Creativity in planning simple daily enrichment activities
