Uncommon Church is looking for a Worship Pastor to lead our church family into Spirit-led, presence-driven worship and to pastor and develop our worship team.

We are a growing church of 400–500 people, and we’re looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves people, full of the Holy Spirit and has experience leading worship in a local church.

The Role

Full-time — 40 hours/week
Lead worship regularly in weekly services
Lead with a Spirit-led approach to worship (no tracks or timers)
Pastor, disciple, encourage, and care for the worship team
Recruit, develop, and train worship leaders, musicians, and vocalists
Build healthy team culture, spiritual maturity, and excellence
Schedule the worship team and plan worship sets
Work closely with the Lead Pastor and pastoral staff in planning services
Participate as an active member of the Associate Pastor team, helping pastor the entire church—not just the worship ministry
Be available to serve and minister throughout the life of the church beyond Sunday mornings
Help develop the worship culture and sound of Uncommon Church as we continue to grow

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Worship Pastor is required
Strong vocal and musical leadership skills
Knowledge of the Nashville Number System is important
A genuine passion for the presence of God
Comfortable following the leading of the Holy Spirit while also preparing and planning with excellence
A pastor's heart for people—not just a passion for music
Ability to develop and lead volunteers
Strong relational and organizational skills
Humble, teachable, and team-oriented
Alignment with the theology, culture, and values of Uncommon Church
