- Lead lively and inspiring worship sessions with vocals and keyboard, creating an atmosphere of reverence and enthusiasm
- Collaborate with other band members and worship team leaders to plan and execute engaging worship sets that resonate with diverse audiences
- Communicate effectively with church staff, volunteers, and congregation members to ensure seamless worship experiences
- Consult regularly with the Associate Pastor to organize and create worship within the Open Door Service
- Manage the administrative aspects of the Open Door Band—keeping track of schedules and absences of band members, keeping record of songs played and their frequency
- Plan and execute weekly rehearsals with the Open Door Band
- Foster a welcoming environment for new musicians and vocalists interested in joining the worship team
- Proven experience leading modern worship music with strong vocals and keyboard proficiency
- Excellent communication skills to connect with team members and congregation alike
- Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members’ talents
- Solid understanding of contemporary worship repertoire and musical arrangements
- Strong teaching skills to help team members improve their musical abilities and spiritual engagement
- Ability to adapt quickly during live performances while maintaining a positive attitude
