Victory Christian Academy is seeking a loving and attentive Infant Caregiver to support our infant classroom (newborn–12 months) on a part-time, as-needed basis. This role is ideal for someone who has a nurturing heart, a gentle spirit, and a true passion for caring for our littlest learners.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide attentive, responsive care to infants in a warm and nurturing environment
- Support feeding, diapering, soothing, and safe sleep routines
- Engage infants through age-appropriate interaction, tummy time, songs, sensory play, and bonding
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and calm classroom environment
- Communicate respectfully with parents and staff
- Follow all Texas Childcare Licensing health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Must genuinely love and enjoy caring for infants
- Clear criminal background check (required by Texas Childcare Licensing)
- Willing to complete state fingerprinting
- Current CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain shortly after hire)
- Patient, reliable, and attentive to infant safety and needs
- Able to be hands-on — holding, rocking, soothing, engaging
Preferred:
- Previous childcare, nannying, nursery, or infant program experience
- Understanding of developmental milestones for infants

Our infant room is intentionally peaceful, nurturing, and relationship-centered. We focus on bonding, responsive care, and meeting each child where they are developmentally — not rushing routines, but honoring their rhythms and needs with love and gentleness.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
