Job Overview
The Childcare Admin position oversees childcare for special events at Oaks Church. This role manages a team of paid workers to provide care for children from newborn to 5th grade during nontraditional ministry hours. The Childcare Admin reports to the Early Childhood Associate Director.
Responsibilities + Duties:
- Oversee childcare for all special events childcare events and a team of paid workers, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, scheduling, training, and payroll.
- Plan and prepare for activities/programming/supplies/care that takes place during childcare events.
- Assist with execution of departmental events. (i.e. Summer Bash, Sunday Fundays)
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, hires, schedules, and trains new childcare staff.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience working with children in either a volunteer or paid position.
- 2 years experience in managing teams of people is preferred.
- Ability to lift 20+ pounds.
