Rejoice Lutheran Church is a congregation of 350 members located in Coppell, Texas.
We have an immediate opening for a Choir Director. The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the church choir for both rehearsals and performances. This position will report to the senior pastor.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Leading the weekly choir rehearsal scheduled on Wednesdays at 7 PM.
· Conducting the choir at the weekly Sunday 11 AM worship service, as well as occasional special services including Christmas Eve and Easter.
· Assisting in the selection of choral pieces.
· Coordinating with the piano accompanist as needed.
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience working with a church choir.
This position requires approximately 5 hours per week, working at the church, including Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings as mentioned above.
