About CCF
Christ's Community Fellowship Church is a growing church located in the Texas Panhandle with a passion for helping people know and follow Jesus. With over 200 people gathering weekly in a town of 900 residents, CCF has become a regional ministry hub committed to reaching people both inside and outside the walls of the church.
We believe the church is called not only to gather but to go. Our mission is to make disciples, strengthen families, invest in the next generation, and engage our community with the love and truth of Jesus.
We are seeking a full-time Generation's Pastor who is passionate about student discipleship, worship leadership, volunteer development, and community impact.
The Opportunity & Resources
- The Blueprint: Lead an active, high-volume Wednesday night youth group of 50–80 students supported by 10 dedicated adult volunteers.
- The Canvas: Direct ministries out of a brand-new, 2-year-old, $2 million dedicated "Generations Building" designed for local and regional community impact.
- The Team: Inherit a robust production pipeline including 8–10 vocalists, 3 soundmen, 2–3 computer operators, and 2–3 cameramen already serving.
- The Mandate: Act as a Spirit-filled Builder-Recruiter who uses acoustic guitar or keys to lead worship while actively cultivating, mentoring, and deploying local instrumental talent to complete our band.
Youth Ministry
- Teaching & Tools: Equip adult leaders with weekly small group materials, communicate ministry plans, and curate the Wednesday night youth worship experience.
- Hospitality: Coordinate weekly meal plans with scheduled teams, managing expected attendance and serving logistics.
- Events: Plan and execute major annual milestones including Youth Camp and seasonal events (e.g., Ski Trips, Super Bowl parties, New Year’s Eve).
- Presence: Provide pastoral care and support students at local milestone events (baccalaureate, graduations, surgeries) in collaboration with church leadership.
Worship Leadership
- Direction: Architect Sunday morning setlists, coordinate vocal leads, and oversee audio production (running backing tracks, adjusting audio, and balancing vocals/instruments).
- Scheduling: Manage weekly rotations for vocalists, band members, and the full multi-camera tech crew.
- Stewardship: Oversee the technical excellence and long-term stewardship of the main stage environment and church worship equipment.
- Growth: Commit to personal worship disciplines and attend at least one professional worship conference annually to bring fresh vision back to CCF.
Generations Facility & Regional Impact
- Space Management: Calendar and coordinate internal and external facility use (CCF events, youth rallies, and community gatherings) to maximize the footprint of the Generations Building.
- Strategic Events: Design and execute high-impact community events, including moving 2 Sunday morning services into the Generations Building annually.
- Administration: Maintain healthy organizational boundaries by managing weekly youth/worship budgets, pre-approving purchases with the Senior Pastor, and submitting off-campus event logistics 30 days in advance.
- Unity: Assist the broader pastoral staff with major all-church ministry events (e.g., Women’s dinners, Easter Sunrise services) as a unified team player.
Who Thrives at CCF?
The ideal candidate is:
- Passionate about helping students know and follow Jesus.
- Comfortable living and pastoring in a close-knit, rural community setting.
- Self-motivated and highly organized in balancing dual ministry demands.
- Teachable and genuinely eager to grow personally and professionally.
- A team player who deeply values staff unity and healthy communication.
- Excited to recruit, train, and empower adult volunteers to expand our reach.
- Aligned with our vision of reaching unchurched people beyond the walls of our building.
- Capable of leading worship from guitar or keys while actively developing additional worship leaders and musicians.
