Worship & Campus Development Director

Position Summary
Grace Español is seeking a spiritually mature, bilingual leader to serve as our Worship & Campus Development Director. This person will serve in a dual role, helping strengthen both the worship ministry and the overall health, organization, and growth of the Grace Español campus.
The ideal candidate loves Jesus, has a heart for the local church, leads worship with excellence, and enjoys developing people and building ministry systems. This role requires someone who can move comfortably between leading from the platform, investing in volunteers, supporting ministry leaders, and helping the campus operate effectively.
The Worship & Campus Development Director will work closely with the Grace Español Campus Pastor, the church’s worship leadership, staff members, and volunteers to advance the mission and culture of Grace Community Church.
Primary Responsibilities
Worship Leadership
The Worship & Campus Development Director will:
- Plan, organize, and lead the musical portion of weekly worship services.
- Lead worship in both Spanish and English.
- Conduct weekly rehearsals for vocalists and musicians.
- Recruit, train, shepherd, and develop a volunteer worship team.
- Work with church worship leaders and staff to select music and prepare services.
- Coordinate with the Worship Department Coordinator to prepare presentation slides and service elements.
- Collaborate with the Audio/Visual team regarding sound, lighting, projection, and stage needs.
- Help create Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship environments.
- Lead or support special worship services, including Christmas Eve, Good Friday, and other church gatherings.
- Communicate clearly and complete weekly responsibilities in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure that worship ministry practices align with the theology, mission, and core beliefs of Grace Community Church.
- Continue growing in musical ability and remain willing to learn new musical styles.
- Help train musicians and vocalists to serve with excellence, humility, and spiritual maturity.
- Participate in collaborative songwriting or original music projects when appropriate.
Campus Development Responsibilities
The Worship & Campus Development Director will:
- Know, love, serve, and pray for the Grace Español community.
- Work closely with the Campus Pastor to care for and strengthen a growing campus.
- Support the planning and execution of regular campus staff and ministry meetings.
- Identify ministry needs and take initiative to help address them.
- Develop structure and support for volunteer ministry leaders, including small groups, guest services, women’s and men’s ministries, and other campus ministries.
- Oversee the Discover Membership Class and assist participants with connection, baptism, serving, community, and spiritual growth.
- Help oversee ministry budgets and responsibly steward church resources.
- Complete weekly campus assignments provided by the Campus Pastor.
- Serve as a liaison between the Grace Español campus, the Operations Team, and other Grace Community Church departments.
- Help troubleshoot operational challenges and coordinate shared resources.
- Support special ministry projects and future-focused campus plans.
- Attend and participate in weekly, monthly, and campus-specific staff meetings.
- Coordinate room reservations and ensure ministry spaces are properly scheduled, prepared, and aligned with ministry needs.
- Assist with campus calendars, communication, logistics, event planning, and weekly operations.
- Build relationships with local ministries and identify opportunities for Grace Español to serve the surrounding community.
- Help maintain organization of ministry resources and support the proper care of church facilities.
Worship Skills and Abilities
The preferred candidate should be able to:
- Sing confidently and in tune.
- Lead worship in a style appropriate for a bilingual and multicultural congregation.
- Speak fluently in both Spanish and English.
- Play guitar or piano with proficiency.
- Read, arrange, and program music.
- Lead rehearsals effectively.
- Develop vocalists and instrumentalists.
- Work collaboratively with pastors, staff members, technical teams, and volunteers.
- Learn and lead a variety of worship styles.
- Communicate clearly and remain organized.
- Balance creative ministry with administrative responsibilities.
Education and Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Agreement with the theology, mission, and beliefs of Grace Community Church.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- A college degree or equivalent ministry education and experience.
- At least three years of experience leading worship.
- Experience recruiting, training, and developing volunteers.
- Familiarity with Planning Center Online, Google Drive, and other common ministry tools.
- Previous experience serving in a church, ministry, Bible school, or Christian organization.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ministry Context
Grace Español is a growing bilingual ministry of Grace Community Church. Our desire is to reach Spanish-speaking and bilingual families, help people grow as disciples of Jesus, develop strong ministry leaders, and build a healthy church community where people can worship, serve, belong, and live on mission.
This position is ideal for a leader who is passionate about worship but also feels called to help build the people, systems, and ministry culture of a growing church campus.
