Where we are: Cambria is a seaside village on California's Central Coast, with a diverse, multi-generational community of just over 5,000 residents.
Who we are: Cambria Vineyard Church is a 43-year-old fellowship of about 130 active members. We are al loving, Spirit-filled, Spirit-led church committed to loving God, loving people, and serving our community. We operate our own thrift store on Main Street and actively support our community youth collective ministry, local compassion outreach, and disciple-making Missions worldwide.
We are seeking a full-time Youth & Young Adults Pastor who is Familiar with Vineyard Values, the Power of the Holy Spirit (Continuationist), Passionate about Jesus, committed to the authority of Scripture, and called to
Disciple the next generation. The pastor will provide spiritual leadership for middle school students, high school students, and young adults while helping build a ministry culture centered on the Presence of God, Biblical teaching, Authentic Relationships, Worship, Discipleship, Outreach, and Leadership Development.
Our students are looking for a pastor who is approachable, trustworthy, fun, and deeply invested in their lives.
Our leadership team is seeking someone who can provide vision, organization, outreach, volunteer development, and long-term stability for a growing ministry.
The ideal candidate is a pastor-teacher who can connect with students personally, develop leaders, engage families, create a clear discipleship pathway from middle school through young adulthood, and be fully integrated into the life of our community as a whole.

To lead MS & HS students and young adults to: Seek after Jesus, serve their community, and be Sent out to make Disciples.
By: Experiencing God’s presence, growing in biblical maturity, discovering their purpose, and influencing their generation for Christ.
The Youth and Young Adults Pastor will also serve as the “Community Youth Pastor” as a representative of 5 local churches called: The Cambria Youth Collective (CYC).
Position Overview (Full-time: 40 Hours per week)
Primary Responsibilities:
Spiritual Leadership & Biblical Teaching
• Provide overall vision and leadership for Youth and Young Adult Ministries.
• Teach biblically sound, engaging, and age-appropriate messages.
• Create Life groups that move students beyond introductory faith toward spiritual maturity.
• Develop opportunities for prayer, worship, apologetics, Bible study, and discipleship, and outreach.
• Equip students to understand and live out their faith.
Relational Discipleship
• Build meaningful relationships with students through consistent personal investment.
• Mentor students individually and in small groups.
• Foster a culture where every student feels known, valued, accepted, and encouraged.
• Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance at the public schools and colleges in our community.
• Retreat, camps, and mission trip planning and oversight.
Qualifications:
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Agreement with the Vineyard USA doctrinal beliefs. Demonstrated experience and passion for youth and young adult’s ministry. Strong biblical teaching ability. Ability to organize and lead a wide variety of volunteers. Demonstrated ability to disciple and mentor young adults. Relational, approachable, and emotionally mature. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements:
Education:
• Minimum of 2 years of Bible Training from an Accredited and Recognized Institution. Bachelors Degree Preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of previous Youth and Young Adult Ministry Experience.
• English/Spanish Speaking (Bilingual Preferred).
