The Lilly Grove Church is seeking an Associate Staff Minister to support pastoral care, teaching, and ministry leadership in collaboration with the Executive and Senior Pastors. This role helps advance the church’s mission by providing spiritual guidance, strengthening ministry programs, and serving as an active member of the ministerial staff team.
Position Overview
The Associate Staff Minister supports the spiritual life and ministry operations of the congregation through pastoral care, teaching and preaching, and leadership of assigned ministry areas. The position partners with the Executive Pastor, Clergy team, and ministry volunteers to plan and deliver effective programs that serve members and engage the community. While this position holds no direct supervisory responsibility, there will be duties that include overseeing and collaborating with volunteers as a supervisor would.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
· Provide pastoral care through visitations, counseling, and recording care to the sick, shut in, or grieving.
· Teach and preach for Bible study, Church School, and worship services as assigned.
· Lead and coordinate assigned areas of ministry (e.g., education, youth, outreach, senior adults) to manage church vision and church growth.
· Partner with campus leaders and staff to coordinate calendars, plan programs, and evaluate effectiveness.
· Prioritize and support church initiatives that build spiritual unity for mission and congregational success.
· Perform other supportive ministry duties as assigned.
