About Emerald Bay Community Church
Emerald Bay Community Church is an independent, multi-denominational church in Bullard, Texas, serving Emerald Bay and the surrounding communities. The church is active and community-oriented, with a strong commitment to Bible teaching, discipleship, and missions.
With 275 people in Sunday attendance, the church is investing intentionally in the next generation and is seeking a Student Ministry Director who will help strengthen and grow ministry to middle and high school students.
This is a part-time role with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position over time.
Position Overview
The Student Ministry Director will lead and coordinate ministry for middle and high school students, helping them come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their faith.
This role focuses on building relationships, developing discipleship opportunities, organizing ministry environments, and equipping both parents and volunteers to support students effectively.

Qualifications
Character & Calling
- A genuine and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- High integrity, humility, and a teachable spirit
- A sincere love for students and their families
Strengths & Skills
- Strong relational and communication abilities
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Creative, organized, and adaptable
Experience
- Previous work (paid or volunteer) with students or children in a church, school, or similar setting is preferred
Compensation & Details
- Part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week)
- Salary: $20,000–$30,000 annually
- Two weeks of paid vacation. Federal holidays observed
Summer Residency Opportunity
Emerald Bay Community Church is also open to offering a paid summer residency for someone exploring a call to student ministry.
This could be:
- A standalone summer opportunity, or
- A pathway into the part-time Student Ministry Director role
