JOB DUTIES: Serve as the Church's primary preacher, delivering expository sermons which teach through books of the Bible and appropriate cultural, theological, and visionary topics as needed. Plan annual preaching calendars and delegate regular preaching responsibilities to other qualified men. Ensure worship services are thoughtfully crafted, led, and evaluated according to biblical standards. Disciple and develop leaders in the church by intentionally identifying, investing in, discipling, and delegating responsibilities to church members with appropriate leadership gifts. Encourage and provide biblical counsel to individuals and families in the church body. Collaborate on a shepherding and pastoral care ministry and provide visitation and pastoral care as schedule permits. Conduct or delegate baptisms, communion, weddings, funerals, and indications. Work with the church's Missions Committee to ensure a strategic focus on missions through our missions partnerships. Engage with relevant teams to execute projects in furtherance of shared vision and ministry strategies, including building projects, missions trips, new ministries, etc. Implement effective ministry strategies and ensure operational efficiency in pursuit of shared vision. Develop and encourage staff and ministry teams towards Christlike personal and professional ministry development in alignment with shared values and in pursuit of shared vision.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Divinity, Ministry, Theology, or related and 2 years of experience in position offered or Lead Pastor-related occupation. The position also requires:
Theological knowledge, including a deep understanding of scripture, Christian doctrine, church history,
and theology, gained through seminary training, research, and teaching.
Proficiency in delivering sermons, teaching Bible studies, and speaking at conferences or events.
Knowledge of Biblical languages such as Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic, to be used for interpreting original
scripture texts.
2 years of experience in teaching and preaching biblical truth in churches and/or academic settings.
2 years of experience in structuring workflows and schedules efficiently to meet deadlines, including
preparation and study to teach and preach regularly.
2 years of experience in designing and implementing goal-oriented plans and aligning team efforts with
organizational objectives.
2 years of experience in developing cross-generational Christian ministries such as educational programs.
2 years of experience in developing and collaborating with church leaders and organizing and leading
church volunteer teams.
2 years of experience in leading and collaborating with church networks to develop inter-congregational
ministries and programs.

SALARY: $63,024 per year
