Staff Job Specific Requirements & Responsibilities
Production Manager
The role of Production Manager will be to continue to advance all aspects of production, including sound, livestream and visuals in both areas of in house and outward communications. The role & responsibilities will be evaluated each 6 months for amendment.
1. Follow all requirements as listed in the Leadership Specific Qualifications and Responsibilities section of the staff handbook.
2. Follow all requirements of the Safe Child Policy & Procedures as listed in the staff handbook.
3. Personally submit fully to the vision/mission of Soma Church as listed in the staff handbook. Align vision/mission of all teams lead to the vision/mission of Soma Church
4. Serve at discretion of Lead Pastor to accomplish projects at Soma Church. Specifically in area of communication:
a. Continue to research and develop platform for live streaming worship services.
b. Oversee teams and coordinate all communication platforms at Soma Church. i.e. website and church app
c. Oversee and coordinate graphics for church media platforms.
5. Production of Sunday Services and other events
a. Serve with Lead Pastor and Worship Pastor to produce Sunday worship services
b. Manage and grow Production Team and assist in the production services and events.
i. Sound Tech
ii. Live Stream
iii. Media (Slides & Videos)
6. Manage and execute Church communications
a. Website
b. Church app
c. Social Media
d. In house communications (slides, videos, Flyers etc.)
7. Manage Church IT.
a. Repair Hardware and Software issues
b. Work with staff and leadership teams to be sure upgrades are made.
c. Strategically plan and present hardware upgrades as needed.
8. Assist Lead Pastor and Servant Lead Team with building maintenance and expansion.
