We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate loves the Lord and has a heart for sharing the love of Christ with young children. This role focuses on creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where infants can grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The Infant Teacher will help introduce God’s love through prayer, songs, and age-appropriate Bible-centered activities while supporting each child’s developmental milestones.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood development and introduce biblical values.
Create a safe, loving, and welcoming classroom environment that reflects Christ’s love and encourages exploration and learning.
Engage infants in play-based activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Pray with and over children, model Christ-like behavior, and help share the foundations of the Gospel in age-appropriate ways.
Monitor and assess children’s progress and communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development and well-being.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets all childcare regulations.
Manage classroom behavior using gentle guidance and positive reinforcement.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, Christ-centered learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications / Experience

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to share His love with children.
Previous experience in childcare, daycare, preschool, nannying, or early childhood education preferred.
Understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
Experience with behavior management and nurturing young children.
Experience working with children with diverse learning needs or special education is a plus.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication skills and a heart for partnering with families.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
